Our Recruiters work closely with our account managers to source, qualify, and present stellar candidates for external and internal technology positions.

People who tend to do well in this role are perpetually curious, inquisitive, love technology, self-driven, thorough, enjoy meeting new people, not-afraid to pick up the phone and call a stranger, creative, solid communicators and even better listeners. If you come from a background in technology as a business analyst, project manager, developer, administrator, tester, tech writer, or manager – EVEN BETTER!


As a MACRO.CCS Recruiter You Will:

  • Meet tons of new people while you source employees and subcontractors for MACRO.CCS and MACROSTAFF, and candidates for employment by clients of MACROSEARCH.
  • Search, nay PURGE!, the MACRO.CCS database and external websites such as Dice and LinkedIn for candidates.
  • Write creative ads to attract candidates to these positions, contact former employees and other people met through your employment at MACRO.CCS to obtain leads to people who might find the jobs appealing.
  • Critically read resumes, telephone screen appropriate candidates, and interview candidates in person or via telephone or Skype to get a really solid understanding of who they are and what they do.
  • Determine those who are most likely to be hired by us and/or our clients.
  • In coordination with Account Managers, check references of the candidates whom you intend to refer for job opportunities.
  • Write up descriptions of candidates for inclusion on our web site, for email publications, and for presentation by account managers to clients.
  • Correspond professionally with candidates on all issues, keeping them apprised of the status of our work on their behalf, and maintaining copies of said correspondence in the MACRO.CCS database.
  • Maintain contact with candidates to ascertain if they are available for positions, when and where they have taken new jobs, if their qualifications and/or expectations have changed.
  • Document in the MACRO.CCS database all interviews, contacts, etc.
  • Perform online research into companies, technologies, and personnel, documenting the results of your research in the MACRO.CCS database.
  •  Take courses to enhance your understanding of technology and recruiting.


Backgrounds that work well as recruiters in an organization like ours:

–       Project Managers & Coordinators

–       Business Analysts

–       IT Managers

–       Entry/Mid Level Developers

–       Software / Technology Sales Professionals

–       Social Media Managers




  • 5+ years work experience in IT field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to write professional and grammatically correct correspondence.
  • Knowledge of computer terminology; previous experience in technical management role helpful, especially around enterprise business applications, project management/business analysis, or web development technologies. (i.e. where you would have interviewed/hired folks.)
  • Determination, persistence, self motivation.
  • Able to handle many projects simultaneously
  • Outgoing personality with sales/customer service orientation. Must be comfortable making contacting people with whom they’ve never talked before, and
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time
  • Prefer BA or BS from accredited college
